Stoppt die Ausrottung des Roten Thunfischs

Stop the extermination of bluefin tuna

The bluefin tuna, is a fascinating fish. Unlike other species of fish it can keep its body temperature even in frigid water at 27°C and thereby accelerates to a speed of 80 km/h. Unfortunately, only few people recognize its “life” as having value. It is often chased and killed, because it is as a market good, very expensive. SAVE is stepping up to help the bluefin, because the extermination of the "Ferrari of the seas" is imminent. More

Ohne Haie stirbt das Meer

Without sharks the sea will die

Although perfectly adapted to his living environment the shark plays an important role in the ecosystem, hardly a species of animal is hunted so pitilessly at present like the shark. Hundreds of millions end their lives every year. They end up as shark fin soup and dogfish, animal feed, fertilizer, etc. It is urgent to act, since as of today a third of all shark species are threatened or endangered. SAVE educates by calling for a ban on fining and sustainable fishing quotas. More

Schluss mit Delfinarien – Schluss mit Delfintreibjagden

No more dolphin shows - No more dolphin drive hunts

In tiny, tiled mini-basins dolphins are isolated left to vegetate by themselves. There they must perform dangerous tricks and suffer controversial therapies. Because dolphinariums have performances non-stop, many dolphins are slaughtered every year in cruel hunts to recruit more of their performers. Dolphin hunters drive the animals into nearby bays, where whole families of dolphins are killed brutally by knives, iron hooks and spears. SAVE researches, investigates, and clarifies: for an end of the drive hunt and the closing of dolphinariums. More

Gegen den kommerziellen Walfang

Against commercial whaling

Whales - the gentle giants of our oceans. They are still hunted used for fuel for lamps, shoe polish or ammunition while other products are made from their oil such as, candles, cosmetics or perfume. The method: explosive harpoons. They explode in the body of the whales and burst the beast from the inside. The whales do not die immediately but must surrender to a painful death lasting several hours. There is no good argument for whale slaughter - so help to stop it! More
